Crisis Counseling

Crisis Counseling gives you access to short-term, solution-focused support during a difficult time. Unlike Community Stabilization, which is provided in the home or community, Crisis Counseling sessions are offered as outpatient counseling appointments in a private and supportive setting. Our goal is to help you regain balance, strengthen coping skills, and create a clear plan for moving forward.

The purpose of Crisis Counseling is to provide immediate therapeutic support and help prevent:

  • Escalation of symptoms or stressors

  • Disruptions in daily functioning

  • The need for hospitalization or emergency services

  • Relapse of mental health or substance use concerns

  • Strained family or social relationships

Service Overview:

  • Thorough intake and assessment to identify needs

  • Short-term outpatient counseling, typically 3–15 sessions

  • Flexible scheduling (daytime, evening, and weekend options)

  • Collaboration with your current therapist, doctor, or providers when needed

  • Focus on emotional stabilization, coping skills, and problem-solving

  • Referrals and connections to longer-term treatment and community supports
